Photos Galore #1

Alex is now almost a week old and we are beginning to feel some normalcy in the daily activities at home. She is extremely easy to hang out with and take care of, sleeping much of the day and most often we have to wake her up to eat. When she is up, she stares at us and the world around her so inquisitively, cooing and gurgling and making the cutest faces!

We have a slew of photos to share, so here are a bunch of them. The one to the left was taken at a Halloween party. Thanks to Ruth's sister Emilia for the fantastic costume idea!










OK, you know we've gone back in time. This was taken just a few days before Alex arrived.

The day Ruth went into labour, we went for a hike near our home, up Sanitas Valley Trail with the dog. We stopped a few times during the walk as contractions began (Yeah!).

Obviously the brisk walk worked some magic, as labour continued, and continued and continued until, Voi La!
Here Alex takes in stride the poking and prodding a little while after being born. What a trooper!

Here is the very happy and proud daddy (who's the daddy, Emilia?!!!). And is that 1:30 a.m. or p.m. I really don't know.
